Homework submission

Homework assignments are due each Friday at 8:00 am by submission through Michigan State University's Learning Online Network with CAPA at msu.loncapa.org.

Brief instructions for LON-CAPA

Logging in and working on an assignment

Point your browser to msu.loncapa.org and log in with your MSU id and password.
Select the course PHY 183 - Spring 2003.
In the Navigate Course Contents window either click on the Set you want to work on or expand the set (by clicking on the + sign in front of the folder icon) to see the individual problems.

Navigating the assignment

The NAV button returns you to the Navigate Course Contents screen. You can go back and forth between problems in an assignment with the left and right buttons on the remote control.

Printing an assignment

You can generate a PDF file of the assignment with the PRT button while you are looking at a homework problem. Adobe Acrobat reader is needed to render PDF files and can be downloaded for free from Adobe's Web site.

Discussing an assignment

You can discuss a problem with your peers by contributing feedback (with the FDBK button on the remote control) to the course discussion. Make sure to check one of the two appropriate check boxes.

New contributions from other students are indicated in the Navigate Course Contents window through the symbol.
